Great food! Kielbasa and perogis are delicious, and everything is very authentic. Counter service and nothing fancy inside, but absolutely worth a visit. Staff is very sweet and accommodating. We have loved everything we've tried there and our kids love the potato dumplings with sour cream.

We went on a Saturday at 6:30 and we're the only ones there when we entered. We had to wait for quite a while for the gentleman to come out but once we ordered food came very fast. Food was yummy! Filled us right up and plus some. We will be back!

This is a hidden gem up here. The pierogies are some of the best I've had not homemade. Everything is cooked with love and it comes through in the taste of the food. The only negative is that they are closed on Sunday, so don't wait until your ride home to stop.

Delicious food, outstanding service! The gentleman taking the order was very informative about what it was that I ordered as I had not been there before. Their kielbasa was outstanding as for the pierogis and the golobki sp? Very good food. I will be there again and again. Thanks for taking the time to ensure your customers were satisfied too! Great service, if you see it there in the plaza stop and try their food and enjoy their service!

We vacationed in Traverse City and Petoskey a couple of weeks ago primarily to once again see the color season. Amongst our highlites during this fun trip was a couple of meals at the Polish Kitchen on M119 just outside of Petoskey. (The other location in town was closed for a few days so we didn't get to try it). We tried several different items each time. and while everything was very good, our favorites were the golumki, pierogi, and kielbasa. We each ordered the daily special for $8 per plate - which gives you a choice of 2 items off a list of several tasty dishes, plus self-serve pops. Each food item was prepared very well, served promptly and warm, along with the traditional basket of seedless rye bread and real butter - yum! The owners were very friendly and rightfully proud of the food they prepared. As a pretty serious foodie, and one who appreciates well-prepared authentic cuisine, I highly recommend this place for really good food at a good price. If you stop by, please tell Ziggy hello for me - his new friend from Chi-Town!

I have tried almost everything on the menu. I like most it, but for me, a disciplined seeker of value, there is no better quick serve lunch between Harbor and Petoskey than the Polish Kitchen off menu special of a half sandwich and cup of soup for 5.99. I get the Club and a cup of bean soup. The Club is excellent. The bean soup is more like a light chili made with a little ground sausage. It's very tasty and mildly hearty. The owners are always hospitable. Two thumbs up.

First time here ?? Order the King's Feast Sampler - $15. Gives you a taste of everything - includes Hunters stew which is awesome. You'll be hard pressed to find a single favorite item off the platter - it's all amazing !!! Even the rye bread is homemade !!! The Polish Kitchen in Petoskey or Harbor Springs - same great food - two different locations. Brought my Dad here for the first time - tough customer - his been to many polish restaurants from Ann Arbor to Cross Village - this is his favorite place ( mine too !!! )

Have passed by this place for years and always wanted to eat there. Today was the day and it couldn't have been better. I had the stuffed cabbage and kielbasa. They were both off the charts. There is another location in Petoskey. Try it, I'm sure you'll love it!

Okay, I'm extremely picky about my polish food having grown up on it, and this is THE place to go! The man is very nice (can tell he's from Poland). I tried the soup not knowing if I'd like it, so he said if I didn't, he would exchange at no cost. I told him it was great, and he thanked me and seemed to make his day, so you can tell he is doing what he loves and appreciates compliments. You order at the register, then sit and he will bring you the food. Also, pop fountain you fill yourself, which is nice. Sorry to my family, but they have the best stuffed cabbage ever here!! I will definitely be stopping by here again!!! Also, very stuffed, definitely can't finish the dish (good thing)!

A must try when you visit Harbor Springs! The restaurant is not huge, but spacious (enough) and cozy! The food is GREAT, with very affordable prices! Highly recommend it!

This place is great. The golabki with mushroom gravy is outstanding. They also have potato pancakes, pierogi's, and sandwiches. For dessert, try a fruit crepe. Highly recommended.

Nice people. I grew up in a Polish family and these flavors are my comfort food. The best pierogi around! Everything is lick-your-plate-clean delicious. Really!!!

Some of the best polish food I have ever had, both here and their Petoskey location. Both are great little family run places with a passion for polish food and hospitality.

What a find! A little place tucked away in a strip mall in between towns way up north of anything I thought we'd find. The boyfriend spied it on a drive and we had to pull in. The gentleman behind the counter was very sweet in explaining what bigos is to my non-polish boyfriend. And man was it great! We ordered one combo plate and some extra pierogis, but barely finished them. Pro-tip: Either go hungry or with a group. The proportions were very generous. The sausage was stellar. And the pierogis were fried, not boiled. (Thank god!) Also as an added plus they were sprinkled with bacon. (Yes please!) Hands down a win. If you're in the area, go. If not, consider the trip. This place was on par with some of the places in Hamtramck.

Almost all their vegetarian food is potato based; potato pancakes, potato dumplings, and potato pirogi. I do like them, though everything is a bit greasy. I really like the garlic sour cream. Their crepes and apple pie are also very good.

Our family loves this place. Everyone is so nice and extremely helpful. The potato pierogi are flavorful and satisfying. My 3 year old niece thought they were too peppery, but everyone else polished off about 10 each. The sides we've tried are great. The grated beets are mixed with horseradish and have a nice bite. The applesauce is chunky and goes perfectly with the pierogi. They even helped us figure out a good way to take pierogis for 10 on a hike, packed them up, and gave us directions for reheating in the morning. We have also picked up from here when no one wanted to leave Petoskey Beach at lunch time. Everyone who works there has been friendly and helpful.
